This survey is a collaborative initiative by NSW Government agencies to provide timely, practical intelligence on how emergencies are affecting Aboriginal communities. The survey is intended for use by NSW Government staff when engaging with Aboriginal communities that are at risk of, or currently experiencing, emergency management impacts, and is designed to support faster awareness of emerging impacts and, where possible, enable a more coordinated and responsive approach to the specific emergency management issues being reported.

Why are we collecting your personal information?
To facilitate the survey, Spatial Services, a business unit within the Department of Customer Service (DCS), is collecting your personal information through this survey to gather feedback and useful information about the impact of the current fuel crisis on Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisations and community members.
What personal information do we collect?
We may collect the following information from you:
• Full Name – to identify respondents and potentially link feedback to specific roles or industries.
• Job Title/Role – to understand how different positions experience the Portal.
• Organisation – to categorise feedback by specific areas and industries.
• Contact Information – such as email address and phone numbers, in case follow up is required.
• Internet Protocol (IP) Address and device information.
Please note that submitting the above personal identifying information (name, job, organisation and contact information) is optional.
How we use and disclose this information?
If we need further clarification on a matter you've lodged in the survey, your personal information helps us understand who to follow up with. We use de-identification techniques to anonymise responses in reports and dashboards and will not disclose this information to any other party, unless you provide your consent or we are required or authorised to do so by law.
You are not required to provide any of the requested information by law. Not providing information just means we will not be able to contact you regarding your responses.
